Guest
As part of ticket: #1508585 I do seem to get a noise bug lately. This one triggers upon leaving the combat zone to return to my orbiter (or back to Fortuna, etc...). Usually brief, this one lasts for the entire duration of the elevator ride towards Fortuna. This goes in the form of an extremely loud, gibbering and distorted noise. Like a constant loop, overriding even the settings of the master sound volume. Quite the murder on the ears, that one. Guest
Followed by a similar bug. Ticket: #1508735 This time less loud than before. Returning to Fortuna, seems to trigger all sort of sounds lingering. This time, it sounded like a constant soft flapping. A buzzing swarm of jittery butterflies. Remained audible until leaving Fortuna.
Guest
I rebooted my PC. Thinking it might be the cause. But upon entering the elevator again after a mission on the Orb Vallis, The murder sound returned. Closing Warframe, and re-opening. Or even rebooting my PC, both don't resolve the issue. Guess I can safely say it is reproducible. Thought it only triggered upon leaving the combat zone to return to my orbiter. It affects leaving Fortuna as well. Usually brief, it now lasts for the entire duration of the elevator ride towards Fortuna. Even persisting in the hub, untill moving to my orbiter. Nebulyne
I'm having the same problem. It sounds like a garbled version of the sound my Phage gun makes. Maybe it was because I was firing the Phage as the elevator started?
Guest
Funny how it tends to be the phage. It didn't occur to me yet that it was a particular gun triggering the incident. I just picked a weapon and went to replicate the issue Also made a video of the incident. Ear murder starts at: 4:22 This particular moment it was even a bit more silent than usual. Tends to be... louder... Edit* After further testing, the phage seems to be the culprit indeed. Any other primary, and the sound distortion does not apply. Raknel
I can confirm this with the phage .
