Pvp Improvments

PvP people have been dealing with that argument for a long time. That argument can no longer be used because DE will be implementing PvP that involves a lot more than the dueling room in the dojo. Like I said, it is time for the anti-PvP players to deal with it.

 

The reasonable course of action is for players to give feedback on how to improve both PvP and PvE content because those two types of content are here to stay. The unreasonable course of action is for people to keep trying to block PvP content from being added to the game when resources have already been expended for that purpose.

Ah, but the thing is, they need to drop PvP, they need to forget it exists, and put all resources towards PvE. Just because they wasted their time on PvP already, doesn't mean they should keep doing so, or we're gonna end up with 2 half baked games, trying to be one game, and failing.

Did you know that once PvP content is created, there is no need to continuously create new content? Once 3-5 maps are created, with different rule sets, people will be able to have fun playing those maps for months or years without many resources being expended beyond balancing and copy/pasting content over from PvE.

Right, minus making new maps, BALANCING EVERY FRAME, WEAPON, AND POWER (plus new stuff), game modes. But yeah, minus those little things nothing has to be expanded on PvP...

Might as well turn the tutorial mission into a asymetrical pvp match with the new player as Tenno against a squad of Grinner player characters. Or mastery test pvp matches where you have to defeat other players with a higher mastery rank.

There also needs to be an elo score system that can be viewed by anyone and a mechanic to tell the game you don't want to be teamed up with baddies below a certain score. Because come on, nobody wants feeders on their team, right?

Did you know that games that have PvP still need content? Blacklight: retribution is solely PvP based. It added in a survival mode very late into it's development cycle. It's down to about one thousand players because the devs haven't released anything for months, only recently adding in new weapons and a single map, which hasn't brought anybody back to play.

 

Regardless of if you have PvP, you still need more content. PvE is where the most people would WANT that content.

The instant a game becomes PVP, community takes a nosedive into the garbage. PVP takes in the worst community possible. Just look at Halo forums, Battlefield 3 forums, CoD Forums, LoL Forums.

 

PVE may not be perfect, but at least the community has less trash.

 

 

That said, how to make PVP fun for you PVPers? You all start with Mk1 Braton, Lato, and Skana. Your warframe is who you choose but you have no mods other than your abilities. Knock yourselves out and don't $#*(@ when someone kills you. BALANCE.

wasting resources/time/effort on PVP when it's a PVE game for what?

the abilities of each frame aren't even balanced, and now u want PVP...

 

i rather have a proper PVP game at the very end of all the future PVE content out.

 

PVP example current: MAG put bullet attraction on someone inside that tight box = all bullets hit that target.

tell me, is that fun ??

 

ok, now let's take it out on a full map, every player go sniper mode. each and everyone of u 4 player go camp and wait for someone to snap going out of cover. (aka. waiting game)

 

that or MAG cast pull (max stretch + range helm) = all other 3 players within range got damaged and tossed in the air (current PULL)

or all of the 3 player got pulled to the caster and knockdown for a free ORGIS shot. (old PULL)

 

hmm every balance indeed...
