Possible trade bug or duping

So I had a trade earlier today and something odd happened, the trade was going fine before the guy removed his platinum and returned putting an asterisk in chat first then just saying bug after which we continued the trade but he suddenly said thank you and left the clan causing the trade to die. I quickly checked and neither had more platinum or lost the parts so I messaged the guy saying the trade wasn't completed and all he said was that he succeeded and then posted the word bug again. I won't say the guys name but I did print screen the conversation and was looking for where to report this but I couldn't find anything that quite matched it so my friend suggested I post here. Can anyone give me some help?

Well you can always open a ticket.

If the bug is this bad I don't think they suggest you to just post it here.

Well it seems nothing was lost so I don't know what's the issue but I can conclude that either one of you was confused haha

If it is a bug then there is a bug section. I would write it there.
