Named Moa is still called MOA on the UI after being gilded

As the title says, I recently gilded my Moa and named it Cuddles, yet it still says MOA on the side of the screen and when it's downed. It says Cuddles everywhere else though, in my arsenal and at the top where it says my frame/weapon/etc.

Everybody should see his name as Cuddles, he's a good boy 😂
