It does fill an interesting niche though, it's basically a single handed weapon that specializes in regular attacks over charge, which is pretty cool.

 

Although it's a little depressing when you realize it's a reskinned Machete, I still dig it

It's bad. It looks like a heavy 2 handed weapon (in shop), but it isn't, it's just... bad and boring...

It tells you that it's a hatchet.  There's no such thing as a two-handed hatchet; that would be an axe. Though there are one-handed axes... but that's not the point.

Some people mention that Kama can copter like Zoren can...

 

Dual Zorens:

15 damage

25% crit chance

300% crit damage

2 attacks per second

 

Kama:

40 damage

5% crit chance

150% crit damage

1.2 attacks per second

 

Conclusion:

Assuming Zorens cit once every 4 hits, then they will outdamage Kama over 2 seconds.. When crit chance and crit damage mods are added, Dual Zoren leaves Kama in the dust.

 

I feel like the Kama could probably use a small buff to make it more worth using.

Kama does have one thing that nobody here has mentioned yet: it hits multiple enemies, though, it should have a high crit chance and crit damage mult. Perhaps 20% crit chance and 2.0x crit damage.

Oh, it also comes with two V polarity slots.
