Does Hellfire Still Drop?

According to the wiki the best chance of getting the Hellfire mod for rifles is a reward for doing any defense mission. I have done roughly 7,396 defense missions and have yet to see a songle drop or reward for Hellfire.....

 

Any suggestions?

I still see a lot of Hellfires from Defense, up to even wave 25.

Try to farm defense mission to get Focus, the moment you want Focus, Hellfire pops up too damn fast -___-'

 

(jokes aside: yes, it still drops, just a matter of luck, as always)

Xini or Eligor always has this on my 5th or 10th wave.

Yes it drops. Its a very common drop in mid-high level infested defense missions. Perhaps too common. As far as I know, defense missions vs the other factions don't drop it.

there are two ways that you should be able to find Hellfire.

- mob drops from Grineer / Corpus

- Exit rewards for Infested

however, all datamined information should be taken with a cup of salt, exact chances may not be entirely accurate due to RNG2.0 a few weeks ago. the locations just about everything comes from though, should be accurate.
