Ember's passive ability, in light of a potential rework

0) Please, do not change Ember's passive ability, as the current passive is very useful.  All it requires is the use of a Javlok built for minimal damage but high status, and while riven-less, can set Ember on fire for under 100 total damage (including burning damage) for 12 seconds.  At an energy regeneration rate of +10 energy/second while on fire, this is quite the useful combination for an energy refill during any lull in the action or transportation between objectives.  This level of energy regeneration allows for the use of low efficiency/high energy capacity builds without the arduous requirement of multiple full sets of Arcane Energise, allowing Ember to unlock some of her current potential, and it would likely continue to help Ember in the event of her abilities being reworked. 

Alternatively, if her passive ability were to have to be reworked, I'd like to put a few suggestions in the suggestion box that an idea could be pulled from. 

1) To enemies that Ember sets on fire, have their armour reduced (melted) and maximum health (pieces of them being burned away) be decreased permanently based on how long they are on fire (perhaps at a base rate of 1% maximum health and 1% armour decreased per second spent on fire?), potentially having the rate of decay increase with multiple stacked heat procs or increase based on how many consecutive seconds that the particular enemy is on fire. 

2) Allow Ember to bypass the limitations of general heat procs, being able to stack multiple heat procs on a single target instead of merely refreshing the duration of the heat proc for no additional damage.  Additionally, applying multiple heat procs on a single target should increase the damage of both applied heat procs, as continually intensifying the heat would likely cause exponentially greater damage, realistically speaking.  Then again, this is a game about ageless robotic space ninjas, so I suppose realism shouldn't be much of a consideration. 

3) For each enemy within a set range of Ember affected by a heat proc, augment her abilities.  This could be done by using the heat in the area (from already burning enemies) to increase the efficiency or strength/damage of Ember's abilities by a few percentage points. 

4) A Ring-of-Fire concept (the recently added part of Ember's 3rd ability where shooting through it amplifies damage), where enemies set on fire by Ember take more damage from external sources that travel through the fire (from the currently applied fire proc on that enemy) on their way to hitting said enemy. 

Just a few ideas, in no particular order.  Though, the reason I would prefer the current passive over any of these proposed ideas, is that the current passive increases Ember's active ability to augment and increase her active capabilities, whereas the listed replacement suggestions are all passive buffs, which are not as fun, in my opinion.
