Xariann
Details: Warframe: Rhino Map: Tolstoj on Mercury Main boss was defeated. Host left/Dced (not sure!). Screen hung on the message for migration swap for a while then it said the connection failed and I now have no credits. I think I had about 7500. Ced23Ric
It's a "common" problem, unrelated to frame or map. Whenever your client loses connection while the database looks for an update, it solves asynchronous data by deleting the potentially offending value (Say, "nio8##&" is a really odd number ... ;)) and replaces it with 0, as a self-reset to keep the field valid (probably longint, so a large volume of integers) to it#s definition. Sorry bud. I lost 90,000 on my first day of playing - it happens. :/
Xariann
Well, "it happens" isn't good enough. It needs to be fixed before this goes out of beta. I know it's common, and some people have been refunded. :)
[DE]Steve
Agreed - it's totally unacceptable. We've got our database logging all inventory transactions now to box this in. If this happens to anyone going forward can you please open a support ticket so I can trace the error. Thanks!
Xariann
Sounds sensible, thank you! P.S.: Ced I wasn't tryng to bash you or anything, and I appreciate you taking the time to explain the technical side of it. Kunieda
Sorry to hear it happened to ya, my friend lost 100k when we were playing two days ago, if it's early it really hurts ya but at least later on you make around 5k-12k for decent mods dropped! And since this is beta it should be fixed by official release [=. Glad the staff go out of their way to restore the credits lost even now during a beta.
