Bring back Random Alerts between Nightwave seasons

As title suggests.

I know this is the end of season 1 and perhaps this current break from nightwave is merely a one-off thing and in future, there will be no such pause between seasons.

However, if pauses do become a standard thing between seasons for whatever reason, then perhaps bring back the old random alert system in between the seasons. 

Mainly so people who join or return to the game at the wrong time (like between seasons) have an option to farm nitain  and other things offered only in alerts.
