Ced23Ric Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 Affinity is a term describing how close to, how understanding of a certain topic or item you are. The adjective is affine. For example, someone techno-affine would be someone who knows electroics, understands circuit board logic, and can program a VCR. The higher your affinity to something is, the better you know how to use it. Affinity, in Warframe, is a different term to "experience", which describes a similar state, but indicates less "knowledge of the use of something" but more "knowledge gained while using something". High affinity allows you, in Warframe, to tap deeper into the power of the used item. TL;DR: Different word for experience, says how familiar you are with something.
