IamLeetsauce
Not sure where to post this. Haven't played in 4 years. I'm on a Radeon 6870 HD graphics card, with windows 64 bit. My computer has dx12 installed when I go to dxdiag, and I know even though its an old card, the radeon is able to run directx11. When launching the game I get the "No longer supports DirectX9 error", but I don't think even 8 years ago I had dx9. Any suggestions? Not super tech savvy, thank y'all in advance. IamLeetsauce
Checked that too, for the boxes I only see Directx10 and DirectX11, but both are unable to be selected. Thank you though!
sam686
Open launcher settings, "Get Logs", wait a minute, "OPEN". Open launcher.log, find (ctrl+F) "Checking D3D", does it show your graphics card? Mine works and shows this: Checking D3D support... Found D3D adapter 0: AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 11 Graphics (D3D_FEATURE_LEVEL_11_0) Found D3D adapter 1: Radeon RX 580 Series (D3D_FEATURE_LEVEL_11_0) Ignoring software D3D adapter 2: Microsoft Basic Render Driver (D3D_FEATURE_LEVEL_11_0) Yours should show something like Radeon HD 6870 or similar. Missing your graphics D3D adapter? Check device manager. Download and install graphics card's software drivers for it. More then one D3D adapter? This might requires to switch primary monitor to the one plugged into graphics card. OR Windows 10 Graphics settings to change to High Performance GPU.
