Screen keeps going blank in Item Selection in Void Fissure if you're continuously falling

So I was the last person to extraction at the end of a void fissure mission and I overshot the landing so I had the falling animation like 5 times in a row and the whole screen kept going black every time my character reset, which was very distracting when trying to choose an item.  The UI should not be blanking out at this time.
