Mod Farming

Does anyone has some tips on mod farming? I noticed I have more than 10 different pistol mods, but I don't get to see much of other type of modes. I use my pistol a lot, so maybe is the drop rate of mods depends on the equipment you use tu kill mobs?

Anyway, if you can reccomend me a planet/type of mission to farm rifle mods, I would be gratefull.

Xini is where most people will tell you to go for general farming, but if you want a specific mod I recommend checking the wiki, as people often post where they find specific mods on that mod's page.

Defense missions provide a wider variety of mods due to facing different level ranges of enemies. You still need to alternate factions.

 

Void Mobile/Defense missions provide a large number of mod drops and have separate tables from the regular defense missions, as well as void only drops.

 

Mobile Defenses arent good for hunting a particular mod unless you know where the mod drops (faction/enemy/level). They are good for farming a large number of a limited type of mods tho.

Last time I checked, Nightmare missions will give you those fancy-pants Dual-Stat Mods. I still don't have all of them.... :(
