You see, when I first came to know you in my timeline, you and I were madly in love. Unfortunately, at the same time, my clan was at war with another clan. The only way to end said war was via marriage between these two clans. Neither of us wanted to see me get married away to somebody else, so I tried to run away with you, we got caught, and you were executed before my very eyes... *her eyes start welling up* But, on my wedding day, a lady that looked no older than I was barged in through the far wall of the temple the ceremony was being held in, and single-handedly slaughtered the clan of the man I was going to be married to, and said, "You'll do..." I asked what she was talking about, she said that there was no time to explain, and that she was my ticket to being able to see you again... So, naturally, I agreed.
