Peptoradegaming Posted August 6, 2019 Share Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) I bought the new 5700xt gpu from AMD, expecting a preformance boost from my gtx 1060 3gb. To my surprise im getting way lower (40 max) fps even on low. Ive tried switching to DX10 but it doesn't help at all. I reinstalled my graphics drivers and even reinstalled windows but it doesn't seem to help either. Does anyone know what could help? Your new GPU appears to use around double the power that the old one did (peak W). So you could be getting PSU issues. This would be something to check, what is your PSU? 1060 - about 120 W 5700xt - about 240 W The other thing to check is going to be that the games are using the correct GPU.
