Nightwave UI/ Sands of Inaros glitch

So i just did Sands of Inaros and encountered this bug while i was completing the first sacred vessel requirement, the one with killing 60 of a given type. So some of the kills are still left and baro’s coaxing to go “down the same path” animation comes after every mission completed, right? So I finished a mission and immediately hopped into the nightwave tasks/rewards screen and somehow baro’s animation decides to pop in and gets stuck over there. Moreover his face is clipped. Only the left part of his face is visible.
