Last Night Dawnguard Was Given Out To Everyone For Free On Steam. (Accident)

Somebody hit the "give free stuff" button again at valve and dawnguard was given free to everyone who does and doesn't own skyrim by mistake. A 700mb update for a two year old game made people wonder what was going on until they saw in their data files that dawnguard was added.

 

I actually had it as well because of this but later removed the files as I was planning to buy it.

 

It was later removed.

 

If you have skyrim installed the last 24 hours and don't own dawnguard I would check your data files.

Anyone who doesn't have skyrim installed or didn't let the update complete will most probably have incomplete or none of the dawnguard files as it was later fixed.

edit: oh ho! I do have it! Not sure if it's full or not, but I also have no desire to go back an play skyrim.

I feel like playing Skyrim now. I think I might as well, seeing how the chat system is down.
