Kuva Flood/Siphon Requiem Relic Farming (This must stop)

I entered one Kuva Flood and three Kuva Siphons with pubs in a row yesterday.  
In all of them at least two players just finished the mission, ignoring the Kuva, and ran to extraction.
This caused me to not only not get the Kuva, but lose the available mission till the next rotation.

PLEASE make it a requirement that the Kuva part of the mission be completed before players can extract, or some other mechanic that allows players wanting Kuva to actually have a chance to get it. Being forced out of getting the Kuva I desire, from the missions that are exactly for that, is kind of ridiculous.

I mean, the other players have a good incentive to act that way and DE would get a huge backlash if they made requiem farming take even longer.

Hmmm the relic not bound to the kuva ? Didn't know that and that seem strange to me why even put the reward in siphon and floods if it not bound to the kuva part of the mission.

You are correct, there is good incentive, and I understand people doing it, but that doesn't make it right.
Why should players be disallowed to join a public Kuva Flood or Siphon and not get the Kuva for which the mission is designed?
There should be some solution that offers both parties what they seek.
