So, you know how Nekros has those three ring thingies on his thighs? Well, I think that a pistol should go inside that. My Vasto goes behind it, but I think it'd be cool the other way.

It would constanly clip since he shares the same animations as Excalibur.

 

However, throwing weapons look weird on him. The knife pouches of Despair and Kunai have a weird unfinished bulb connecting them to his thigh.

He actually runs kind of funny, too. I thought he looked kind of weird doing his sprinting animation, but that may just be me.

This. You should really see this if you think that pistols are badly positioned.

As weird as that looks, at least there is *something* connecting them to his thigh.  It's better than weapons just hanging out in space near his body...
