Was there a change to Inaros' pocket sand?

Haven't played in a long time. Came back to have some fun with Anubis Prime and pocket sand doesn't seem to work anymore? I throw it at their faces but there's no prompt to do a finisher. Tried standing in front, behind, to the side, several weapons, no finishers at all. What's the trick to make this work now?

The finisher button has been remapped as of the last Melee Update. Had the same issue when the update dropped, its now the "Use" key, be that E on keyboard of X on controller.

The finisher time seems...shorter? Or at least it's not triggering from farther away. But yeah, the prompt doesn't show up but you can still kinda still do it. You just have to throw sand back in their eyes before you do it, just to make sure.
