Warframe gpu performance issues

Hello.

During the game, at some locations, such as fortune and cetus, kuva fortress. Sometimes it can happen even in orbiter. My load on the GPU suddenly grows to 100%, and for some reason, minimizing the game helps to reduce the load on the GPU for a while  (it works only in full-screen mode, with windowed mode its not work)

I already applied for support, unfortunately they could not help me and the final decision was the advice to lower the resolution and settings of the game.

Check your GPU temperature, and GPU frequency in MHz.

Some NVidia GPU in laptops have low temperature limit, might be as low as 74 C. NVidia inspector, not profile, just regular inspector, and some other overclock programs, might be able to adjust this temperature limit to not throttle and slow down.

The CPU, i7-4720hq, have temperature limit as high as 100 C (T junction), so CPU at 85 C as shown in screenshot should not slow down anytime soon.

Some laptops have CPU and GPU both share the same heatsink, same heat pipe. The heat of CPU may cause huge thermal throttle slow down to GPU trying to drop temperature down to 74 C.

Can stress test using CPU stress test like Prime95, and GPU stress test like Furmark, both together at the same time.

You are absolutely correct, my video card reduces frequencies after reaching 78 degrees.

And it seems I can do nothing about it. At least with NVidia inspector.

This CPU have 4 cores 8 threads.
Your screenshot in Orbiter shows CPU usage of 50% which is too high, and Orbiter CPU usage higher then Orb Vallis CPU usage?

Which program of yours is using up too much CPU?

It could be the evil CPU mining malware or virus, using up some CPU usage.

But, if the CPU usage is maxed at 100% up to a minute after Warframe loading screen, this is probably just shader initialize and load. Shader cache will avoid repeated high CPU usage when loaded to same location.

My Ryzen 2400g also have 4 cores 8 threads.
At Orbiter, no decorations, CPU is 13% at 60 FPS, 23% at 120 FPS.
In Orb Vallis in solo mode, CPU is 21% at 60 FPS, 40% at 120 FPS.

In my case, apparently, this is the normal state of the processor.

Anyway I need to do something with cooling. Probably have to make holes in the case and take the cooling pad: D
