While I can log into my account on the website i cant do it ingame, it says the password is incorrect even after I changed it, it really sucks. fr4gb4ll Posted February 18, 2020 Share Posted February 18, 2020 if you searched the forum you would have found the likely reason(s) for this... server problems: you would likely see a dozent threads about it per hour if that's the reason IP-ban: the usual culprit - you or someone else tried to log into your account with wrong credentials too often and the IP-adress get a 24h duration block. it can also happen when several people logging into seperate accounts from one and the same private IP (e.g. you and your brother) - though i think DE has this one rooted out since a long time. if you have a dynamic IP-adress from your ISP, just restart your router or modem to get a new one after reconnecting the internet. if your IP is static, you're out of luck and have to wait it out (and not trying to log into the game during the time or it might just trigger the ip-ban again...). and yes, even with the IP being blocked, you still can, obviously, log into the forum here - this isn't a ban on your account but a safety measure to prevent others bruteforcing it. don't bother sending a ticket within this 24 hour either, since the support will surly need more time to even get to it than you would need to wait. same goes for contacting your ISP about a IP change (if it'S a static one) for they would need also longer (if they would do it at all). theoretically you could also get an blocked IP witout even any login failiur at all if your IP belonged to someone else before who got it blocked (and who changed it and therefore making it available again for others). personally i never heard that happened since the chance for such is rather small... usually - but it could be a possibility for cases where your 'ISP' only serves a small amount of customers (an example would be a university that offers students internet access or an internet cafe or open hotspot where people play the game from) and ofc, it could be a local problem with an ISPs router (or a node that several ISPs routing through). you could traceroute to the login server of warframe and see if and where the routing fails. then, if the others do the same (and post it) you could cross-check onto such router... though, it won't help you at all to know this. anyway, this ain't no 'bugs' at all - and not worth posting since only a server problem would be some thing DE could do something about (and maybe even not then if they rent those servers) - and you bet that the admin(s) in charge will already being at work fixing the problem before you even realized anything is not working, so no reason to post it. every other reasons, well, maybe aside from ddos attacks or a very screwed up update, are outside of DEs range to handle and are more likely at your own end of the net - so always check your own network, computer and internet connection first.
