Defection rework suggestion

Hello everyone .

Defection as a mission , is always been boring since it's release ( Trust me , I'm done like 2000 points or something in that tactical Alert... Is a torture )
I know it's like a infinite version of rescue mission , but turn out to be a never ending nightmare of waiting for hostages to walk slowing past a big room full with infestation while having bad pathing , as terrible and boring and full of terrifying flaws like this sentence .
There must be a better way to do this . So here is my thoughts .

Sadly ,  unlike my Survival rework post ( here ) , I didn't figure out how to make the rewards scale . Sorry about that .

Make it more interective 

Right now the defection go like this . 
Wait for hostages to come out , leas them to point B or C , than call them to point A , and escort them to the end .

This is super boring . We can't to anything to improve the progress ( other than some items?) , or  being interactive at all . All we do is spam Trinity's blessing and wait . 
To make it better , we must change the system completely . 

Keeping the original spirit of being an infinite rescue , I suggest the mission to be change like the following :

1)A random " hostage " will show up on the map 

like a yellow area on the map . Kind of like the current one but more random .
Don't make them too far though , running through entire map is boring .

2)A Objective will show up

Like a mini boss or a lot of enemies to kill .
We already have red veil and maniacs in this mission type , we can use that , too .

3)After finishing the objective , a few hostage will show up . 

Their movement should be same as the normal rescue target : Fast and stick with the player . 
They don't need to have weapons , but is okay if they do .

The mission will not be easier though . They are still at risk of being hit and down .
And after DE buff the damage of Infested , without player actively clearing the room , they will die really quick .

4)Escort them to the evacuation point .

Work like how we escort hostages on PoE , a small blue area will show up . Our mission is to bring them there .

5)Reward , and repeat .

 

This way will make defection way more interactive and dynamic . And player will not just bring 2 Limbo and 2 Trinity to cheese the entire mission .

sounds useful, which is why it wont happen, the gametype is the same as all new gametypes, a quick and easy timegate for "stuff", once done nobody cares about it so there is little reason to revisit it any time soon, if they do it will be at the end of an amazingly long list of Soon(tm).
