Step #1 - Find a Defense mission or a Survival mission that is not Nightmare.

Step #2 - Grind until Key. Leave mission.

Step #3 - Add 250 Ferrite and the new Orokin Key to build a Dragon Key.

Step #4 - Build a Derelict Key, with Nanospores (whatever) and Salvage or Ferrite and Circuits.

Step #5 - Assemble team of 4, 2 of which are less survivable, one is significantly slower and one does not deal reasonable damage anymore.

Step #6 - Hope to find Vault, hope your team is coordinated enough to have all 4 Dragon Keys.

Step #7 - Enter Vault and find Mods. RNG will dictate what you get.

Step #8 - Hope to make it out before the ship blows up or the Dragon Key is wasted, the mods are gone.

 

We have grind and RNG present in every step. Genius.

 

Repost of ceds post because locking his thread was uncalled for and I wanted to dIscuss it.

 

This needs to be tweaked, maybe have it so you all get rewards, regardless of keys, and to reduce RNG make it so you cannot get the same reward?

It was uncalled for, we understand the system, we understand it's to "Give players with extra void keys something to do" but why the hell are we adding more RNG?

To be honest, these "corrupted" mods would need to be completely OP, with either barely any penalty, or no penalty at all to account for how much goes into getting one...

 

Seriously, DE. PLEASE MAKE SENSE!

 

First, you lead us to believe the new Golem was going to be a rework of the current one, then you turn around, leave the current one alone, and gate one of the most interesting bosses so far behind a boring grindwall...

 

Now, you say you know there's too much grinding involved in the game, and that you want to fix that, but then you do THIS.

 

Why?!
