the moon walk/jump problem

so im sure im not the only one haveing this problem and this isnt a new bug it just got worse.  so what happens is i switch to operater to do a dash for energy right? wrong i press x and i jump high in the air as if i was on the moon and use to this would happen once then done but now it dosnt stop till you finish/abort the mission
