necramech Affinity

necramech affinity gain does not work unless one is leveling their necramech as the host to the game otherwise nothing will level the necramech and save its progress when leaving the mission. It works however for the necramech weapons and does save through returning to finish

From what i've experienced the necramech affinity gained only saves once the mech itself is destroyed unless you're the host, incredibly annoying.
