SPORELACER (PISTOL): Ivara's Navigator problem

Ivara's Navigator treats Sporelacer (pistol) shot as a projectile. If projectile hits a surface, it ricochets or even 180s without changing direction. (I wasn't paying attention to timer, so it seemed endless.) The projectile requires hitting an enemy or manual detonation to end it's flight.

The problem with this is if you die while Navigating, which leaves you stuck doing so and unable to manually detonate, thus requiring unstuck to get out of it so you can force-revive.
