Eidolon timer

Why does the timer not correspond with in-game time. Even pc night cycles start before console. There is a website to check how long until night, that doesn't correspond as well, pc players will start there hunt and the timer shows its night but on physically on the console in game its like a whole minute behind and even when in a party with friend and he will be running with his own squad likewise me but out night cycles differ as well. It doesn't make any sense.

back when I did eidolon hunts, we noticed that even when in the same squad, some players would have the bounty available before others - up to a minute or more before.

This is not just limited to Eidolon hunts, but all timed events - fissure missions will vanish, expire or appear for some sooner than others, the sentient anomaly at a node, the appearance on nodes of the old acolytes.... etc. etc.
