Invite Bug. can't invite or join anyone. says the other person is offline when they are not

when i invite someone to trade it says that person is offline, when that person is online. when someone tries to invite me it says i am offline.

I'm having the same issue, sometimes it gets fixed by relaunching, other times literally nothing seems to fix it. I've only started having this issue today.

Same issue here, a little testing seems to show that if the player who is "offline" restarts Warframe then the party can be created. Using Warframe through Steam, noticed the bug after last nights hotfix.

Yes, this is fairly recent. Really hard to trade or make squads.
