xethier
For something that will play the game well you'd be better off with the PS4. Spending less than $1000 on a PC isn't a great idea, My laptop cost me $1300 wrong, a 500 desktop built properly can run warframe at 1080p with capped graphics. (i should know, my son uses exactly that, so does my wife.)

And honestly, I'd never recommend a console. Why? Because they're stagnant. I had more typed, but it came off as a pc master race rant, so I got rid of it. Depending on what hardware you have in that laptop, you may have overpaid a piece of trash or not. If it doesn't have decent dedicated graphics uhhhhh... it's a piece of trash. Even if it is an Ultrabook. Edited November 9, 2013 by bobafetthotmail

W4RM4CHIN3
Should i wait for Cyber Monday to get all the parts? or just order them now?
xethier
if you can wait, do so. depending on how the corporate-overlords want to do it this year you should save some money. assuming they don't jack up the price too much before they slap a 30% off sticker on it. ;)

W4RM4CHIN3
So i have all my pc parts pretty much set now... the real choice. AMD OR NVIDIA!?!
xethier
amd in this instance = ATI but i get what you're saying. i'd go with nvidia for compatibility, but that's me. some people vastly prefer ATI. as all my gaming rigs eventually become linux boxes and nvidia works infinitely better with linux. but again, this is very much a personal preference thing. that said. almost everything works with nvidia. some things don't work well with ATI. <-- becoming less and less a problem these days though. xethier
I'm leaning towards Nvidia for the phsysx for my money, i don't bother with ATI. their drivers suck, they've been busted numerous times fudging benchmark results. generally, they (on paper) have faster cores. but in the real world, (where drivers mean something) they're almost always outperformed by NVIDIA. W4RM4CHIN3
I FINALLY BUILT THE PC. It was the hardest S#&$ i ever done in my life. bobafetthotmail
yay! The only dangerous mistake is not placing thermal compound between the processor and the heat sink. For all other possible mistakes you are just wasting some more time to figure it out and fix it.
