Railjack Host?

Since railjack content will continue to become more demanding and integral, we need to be able to force host, force use our own ship and items, host chooses who pilots and only allow host to start timers on new missions and/or any crucial events ingame. Also it's kind of mean to make AI crew members such a huge deal in the progression plus all the customization and then not allow us to use them freely in public matchmaking. Railjack needs to give more control and reward to the individual railjack owners who go through the effort of hosting. If we don't have the option to use the things we work for then why not just give everyone a generic setup and let everyone have their own ship in every mission. I get that they don't want it to be too easy but I don't want it to be too disappointing.

It is called Invite Only, Friends Only or Solo depending on your preferred style of gameplay.

 

That said, there are barely any pieces of content in railjack right now that aren't quite easy to cheese if you have an Amesha or good Railjack. Good mods and mk3 parts of one of the houses, not sigma mk3 garbage.

Public match making is always sh*t for those farming/playing specific missions/enemies, so don't do it! The same kind of stupid stuff happens in the Open Worlds when you go into public squads. The mode is designed to be played with friends, not randoms. It does allow you to play with randoms, but the stuff they sometimes put you through... is that a design flaw of the mode or is it just because you sometimes get a clown to join your public squad? Being able to force pilots out as a host could be a thing, but that is about it. Public squads are public and democratic if you want to be the dictator of your squad go find some friends who are okay with that.
