Then, for some inexplicable reason, it takes quite a long time to load. 2. then it aborts (back to the orbiter) and I get reported something like "Connection lost. Rejoin previous squad?" 3. then I click on "No". 4. then I click again on the sortie mission and immediately get the message "Node must first be unlocked. Sadly, only a restart solved it. Actually you can start any mission(I usually start the one I that "must be unlocked") and leave. I'm just gonna post it here each time I get it.
