Steam Deck - Deploying resource drones

Hi, has anyone playing on Steam Deck managed to deploy a Resource Drone and if so how? In the Navigation map the Resource Drones binding shows the button LS with a cross hairs surrounding it; I took this to be Left Joystick Button but that didn't work nor did any other button. I'm using the DE Official Layout for Warframe controller settings.
