Polychroma Posted April 27, 2023 Share Posted April 27, 2023 I noticed that when it comes to purchasing items for real money, prices are now displayed in my local currency instead of USD. I know that the idea was to clarify prices and make things easier to understand but this is having the opposite effect due to circumstances: I can no longer discuss purchases or consider prices without converting them to USD first, adding a level of complexity that wasn't there before. The end result is that I am far less likely to purchase due to the increased decision friction and complexity.
