Zabyr
The flashlight light broke, it became square.
ZackSlam
Hi. Same problem with my game but I believe I've found the solution. Do you perhaps have "High Shader Quality" option disabled in your settings? In my case, turning it on has fixed the issue.

Yes, I have disabled "High Shader Quality", (I can not enable it, then everything will lag) but before the flashlight worked fine. I'm glad to see you've got it all worked out.

Also some advice here: you can change graphic engine to classic since it seems to reduce lag caused by high shader quality (unless you have it set to classic already ofc). Well, it's still a bug on the DE side and needs to be fixed 🙂
Jixxorr
I have this same issue, and putting the High Shader Quality on does indeed fix it, but it does also reduce FPS. There must be a solution that allows decent FPS without an ugly square flashlight

Willsolf
Had same issue. Seems to be fixed for me today. All I did was switch the graphics engine to "Classic" and turned off "High Shader Quality".

We need DE to fix the flashlight in the "Improved" engine, with "High Shader Quality" turned off.
Adeptguy
Can confirm the same, square flashlight! Also using enhanced engine with high quality shader off. Used to work before duviri update, notably kullervo update. So far "enhanced" engine is a step backwards for me in many ways! So many issues! Perhaps after Dark Sector, some of the programmers who knew how to work with the engine left and a few are left who do not have time to do all the work.
