Krane - The Brick Waframe. [Vashtorr's Warframe Concepts, WEEK 17]

Good Australian Afternoon, fellow Tenno!

When thinking of a concept for this Frame, I was reminded (as a truck drove past the office window) that there was a legendary concept for a Brick melee weapon done by an artist a while ago.

So I figured, why not! A violent bricklayer frame just for fun, as an ‘Impact Damage’ focused frame.

For your consideration:

A Tenno who’s role was to fortify the walls of the Orokin Towers, but when Octavia’s Rallying Song to battle sounded, they took whatever was close to hand, and headed to action;

Title: The Fortifier, The Brickwork Brawler

Name: Krane (WIP NAME, Feel Free to suggest others!)

Visuals : An average to toned build, several tools on a belt with a built-in syandana of a rattling sack of bricks on their back. Helmet visually may be… dented.

Playstyle : A violent playstyle of joyful fortification.

 

Base Stats: -

Armour : High

Shields : Average

Health : Average

Energy : Low

Passive: Unsubtle Entry

When Hacking, High percent chance to Auto-Hack with an animation of Krane pulling a brick from their pouch and just... smashing the console. This Auto-Hack would have a small chance to activate Alarms as well map-wide. If a Hammer is equipped, Krane may use that instead.

Brute force in the most comical way.

1st Power : Brickwork Bash

Equip an ‘Exalted’ Melee, granting a new stance (See Link above and below.)

Heavy Attacks throw the brick towards the crosshair, dealing multiplied damage on a headshot based on how many Impact Procs the hit enemy currently has.

Energy would be drained only on equipping and after a Heavy Attack, like that of Hildryn’s Balefire Charger only draining energy upon firing.

Mercy Finishers triggered when using this melee would use the Brick instead of the Parazon. shattering it in the process and dealing Impact Procs in a small radius.

Strength : Base Damage of Exalted Brick

Duration : Affects Combo Duration while Equipped

Efficiency : Energy Cost of Equipping/Re-equipping after Heavy Attack

Range : Base Melee Range/Max Distance of Heavy-Attack YEET

A sudden crash, taking the foe off guard.

2nd Power : Rending Rupture

Krane leaps at an enemy and bashes them with their sack of bricks, Removing Armor within a small radius.

If activated again within a brief period, Krane will cast the power again for a reduced energy cost and an increase in radius of effect, this would be able to stack several times up to a radius/efficiency cap.

Strength : Damage/Armor Reduction

Duration : Affects the duration of cheaper casting.

Efficiency : Base cost of casting

Range : Radius of Armor reduction

 Draining the life from one's foes, reveling in one's own violence.

3rd Power : Staggering Strikes

Krane is granted a boon of increased Impact damage.

When dealing damage to an enemy with over 5 Impact Status Procs, Krane is given Life-Steal and Shield Regeneration, allowing to grant overshield.

Strength : Strength of Impact damage buff, and Life Steal and Shield Restore percentages.

Duration : Duration of Buff

Efficiency : Cost of Casting

Range : N/A

Build one’s walls high and strong, the foes realizing that you are not trapped with them…

4th Power : Fleeting Fortification

Krane builds a linear barrier of brickwork, creating a defensive barrier.

If an area is enclosed by several barriers, a buff is granted to allies within it’s walls, the buff’s strength increasing the larger an enclosed area is.
Allies within this fortification have increased Power Strength, Armour and Health Regeneration.
When a section of the wall is broken by enemy damage, that section will crumble, dealing impact damage and guaranteed procs to any foes within range.

Tapping the power key would cast at an average range, while Holding the key increases the length and health of the wall in exchange for more energy.

Strength : Base Strength of Buffs

Duration : Base Health of Walls

Efficiency : Base Cost of Casting per length of wall.

Range : Base/Max Length of fortification wall.

This frame concept was, obviously, a less serious one, but still fun all the same!

WEAPON TIME
Something Dumb, Fun and Comical

Primary - Blokk - Crossbow : Single-Fire Crossbow with heavy arc, increased headshot multiplier with small Impact AOE on headshots.

Secondary - Bricc - Throwing 'Knife' : Pocket-Dimension Pouches full of bricks, high status chance and critical damage with Low Critical Chance.

Melee - Brikk - Nunchaku : Two Bricks connected by a cable, slow with forced status chance of Impact with every hit once over a certain Combo Multiplier.
