Mastery Rank 17 test - improper jump height

I am into the 5th try on this test because whatever Warframe (doesnt matter) I choose will not jump properly or predictably. I try to do a simple jump from the lower platform to the upper, and the Warframe stops short of being able to reach the top. Anywhere else, including Practice, it jumps WAY FARTHER than the distance it refuses to jump in the actual test. I was almost finished this time,tried to get to the orb, and (Vauban) acted like there was something above his head and popped right back down, missing the jump. I tried again, repositioning, and he just wouldnt make that simple jump. Timer went out. I notice that movement is generally sluggish, running is slow and bullet jump feels like molasses. Is this an artificial barrier or what? Its not happening in practice.
