The Grineer squad gathered nervously in the dimly lit corridor of the Orokin derelict. The call had come in for support - a squad had ventured into the heart of the derelict Orokin ship, only to have their communications abruptly cut off. The rumors that had spread through their ranks were unsettling: tales of unstoppable killing machines, walking nightmares. But the mission was clear, and their orders were unambiguous - find the lost squad and extract them, or recover any valuable assets they had found.

As they ventured deeper into the Orokin ship, the metallic echoes of their footsteps reverberated through the cold, dimly lit corridors. Whispers of dread flitted through the squad. The darkness played tricks on their eyes, and the oppressive silence was only broken by the rhythmic hum of the ship's ancient machinery.

Commander Thalok stood before his team, his voice steady but his eyes betraying his unease. He was a grizzled Grineer with a long history of combat experience, but the stories he had heard about the monstrous machines had chilled even his battle-hardened soul.

"Stay close, follow orders, and remember that we are Grineer!" he barked, trying to bolster the squad's morale.

As they got closer to the last known location of the missing squad, the atmosphere grew heavy with tension. Blood splatters marred the walls and floors. It was fresh, and there were signs of a fierce struggle.

Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the corridor, sending shivers down the spines of the Grineer. They rushed to the source of the sound, only to find one of their comrades, a young Lancer, pinned to the wall by grotesque, talon-like blades. His lifeless eyes stared out into the abyss.

"Keep moving! Stay alert!" Commander Thalok ordered, his voice trembling. But his words did little to soothe the squad's frayed nerves.

As they continued their search, the oppressive dread became almost tangible. The oppressive silence was shattered once more, this time by an eerie, guttural chant that seemed to emanate from nowhere and everywhere at once. It was a language that none of them understood, but its malevolence was undeniable.

Finally, they came upon the chamber where the missing squad had made their last stand. Bodies lay strewn about, torn to shreds, and pools of blood congealed on the floor. At the center of the room, a Grineer soldier, his body impaled on strange pikes, pulsated with each heartbeat, his blood flowing in the room like veins. He looked in pain, lifted his arm, but could not talk.

Suddenly, a shadowy figure emerged, its crimson, bird-like features smeared with the blood of the fallen. Besides her, in the dim, flickering light, the Grineer saw a twisted, nightmarish creature, with elongated limbs, writhing tentacles, and a gaping maw filled with serrated teeth. It was an abomination.

"Fire!" Commander Thalok ordered, and the squad opened fire on the grotesque monstrosity. But their weapons seemed useless against this nightmare.

The figure turned toward them, her eyes glowing with an unholy malevolence. In a blur, her blades pierced through the commander, blood dripping from the lethal strike. Panic erupted as the Grineer fell, their bodies mutilated.

In the chaos, Commander Thalok, with his last breath, ordered a retreat. The Grineer squad fled in disarray, leaving behind the lost squad and their fallen comrades. But it was too late, sounds coming from the back, screams, and fallen brothers.

The furthest surviving member of the squad managed to conceal himself with his mask shattered and comms disabled. Nevertheless, he could hear the nightmarish footsteps drawing closer, accompanied by a chilling metallic scraping on the walls.

A monstrous hand caught his foot and dragged him into the room, his screams echoing in the dark, lifeless corridors.

Pain seared through his body as a pike pierced his flesh, leaving him paralyzed in shock. The eerie chant persisted, a haunting melody.

The door opened, and through blurred vision, he saw a squad of Grineer rushing in. With his last remaining strength, he raised his hand, but the excruciating agony rendered him mute.

As his vision dimmed and the merciless darkness threatened to consume him, one final detail seared itself into his fading consciousness: the vivid, otherworldly colors of the figure dashing towards the Grineer. It was a mesmerizing fusion of green and pink hues, an unnatural blend that defied the horrors of their dreadful encounter.
