You know, something in the line of: "wildly out of balance"

Base beam has low crit chance(11%) but above average crit damage (2.9), the grenade has significantly higher crit chance(31%) and damage. Now multiply that with 300% and the 'wildly out of balance' difference in damage makes a lot more sense. Add to that your mirage eclipse.
