So i only have 1 account. No merging. HOW DO I ACTIVATE?

If someone only has the one account and has nothing to merge with, how do they activate cross trade!?

I'm wanting to trade with my cousin who just joined on PS4.  He has no other accounts to merge.  Why won't it let him trade or activate "cross save"

he has to create a PC account online, and merge his PSN account into it.  He doesn't have to play on PC, but a Cross-Save account is just a PC account.

So lets make an account on a PC he doesn't own....with an account that doesn't exist, just to use his normal account?

He shouldn't have to create a whole nother account on a platform he doesn't own to activate his account. Just put an option for people with 1 account to universalize their account.

Because it has to be a PC account in order to be a Cross Save Account - they state this in the FAQ.  He needs a new PC account, which is immediately overwritten by the PSN account when they link.

Did your cousin have the PlayStation account before Nov. 24? Your cousin can make a PC account on the phone so he or she can merge them together and make the PlayStation account the primary one. I agree console players shouldn't need a PC account or make a PC account for cross save.
