Angel-Nefarious
I have Warframe set to run fullscreen. Occasionally, during a bathroom break or RL conversation, I will leave WF open long enough for my computer to shut off the monitor due to lack of keyboard/mouse activity. When this happens and I come back and wake up the monitor, WF resets to windowed mode. This is annoying, but minor. However, when I use Alt-Enter to reset it to fullscreen, sometimes it takes two or three tries to get it to go to fullscreen (it just sort of blinks the screen at me and goes back to windowed mode). And sometimes, it doesn't work after 3 or 4 tries, and if I keep trying, it will crash the game, and I'll get this redirect in my browser -https://www.warframe.com/en/hardwarefail I've checked, there's nothing wrong with my memory, and this is brand new, fairly high-end machine. It only happens with WF.
Nekomian
Lots of games don't like switching display modes like this - I'd just set it to borderless fullscreen with flip model optimizations enabled, and/or increase the time it takes for your monitor to enter a sleep state. Borderless fullscreen should offer basically the same level of performance with way more flexibility in terms of issues like this, and even gracefully alt-tab without crashing. Angel-Nefarious
Well, that does seem like a viable work around, and you're right about the alt-tabbing working much better, so I assume it will eliminate the other issue too. Thanks.
