look there isnt much reason for this but it feels like such a fun feature to have and something i would very much enjoy so please.

It isn't hard to code. It's called a Spline. You set point to point and the object follows them in a loop.

As for data and handshaking easily up to 500 spline points every time you enter. That's another story.
