Problem with sigil syndincate standing

I wanted to get more standing for Steel Meridian to purchase some of the new augments, and so I put the Champions's sigil on my warframe, however, I have done a couple of missions and the standing instead goes to Cephalon Suda. What could be the problem? Please fix.

They changed that system a while back.
Since Sigils often conflicted with some Fashions and often had people forgetting to take them off?

DE introduced the "Pledge System". It effectively works the same as Sigils... just... without the Sigil part.
You walk up to the Syndicate Terminal, select a Faction to pledge to and you gain a passive 15% of your Affinity into Standing, blah blah blah...

Any Sigils you have/plan to buy can still be worn, but they will not have standing gain associated with them.

Again, Pledge System. You might have one attributed to Cephalon Suda as of now.
The terminal to change is directly to your left upon loading into your Orbiter, it will have a panel that cycles information about the six main factions.
