Eidolons Dying In The Middle Of The Fight

When in the Plains of Eidolon, doing the Eidolon boss fight, the Eidolon has a chance of dying in the middle of the healing phase initiated after destroying all the limbs. This will cause the Eidolon to not capture, meaning that the Eidolon Cull bounty will automatically fail, also meaning that if the Eidolon is either a Teralyst or a Gantulyst will not drop the Eidolon shards required to start the next boss.

Were there Powered Lures attached?

It may despawn when the night ends.

When I did the fight, it was around 30 or so minutes until day and we had more than enough powered Lures.
