Saya's Vigil Quest

Just some feedback on the Saya's Vigil quest - I think it would be less frustrating for new players such as myself if there was a quest step or anything to let us know that the mission won't activate properly if you don't have Codex Scanners. I spent a lot of time with the quest not activating and had to dig through the wiki to find a mention of using Codex Scanners down near the bottom of the page. Purchased some from the market and equipped them to my gear wheel, and the quest finally activates properly. Just a thought. Thanks.

EDIT: The next step after obtaining the coffer gives you Codex Scanners, but I am not sure why the step after speaking with Saya the first time would not allow the quest to activate properly without already having some in my inventory. I have world set to Solo, but walking through the gateway to the plains would activate Free Roam and not activate the mission.

I remember back when I tried the quest, I didn't know Codex Scanners where a thing and I got stuck. They really didn't make a mention of that anywhere, did they? Even after all these years?
