Do Jade Eximus attacks require LoS?

According to my knowledge of last patch notes, jade eximus don't require los to cast their spell, but will only do so when actively in combat.

Nope, and initially they didn't even have to do anything, while unalerted a Jade light would just pop and start to attack you.
And the eximus would just be minding his business while smelling you turning into a crisp.

Such a fun and interesting unit that makes 0 sense outside of the Corpus.

Ye, DE nerfed Jade Eximus to the ground. Before they cast beams at you from other room (no matter room is next to you, above or beneath you). Now just they stand and look at you confused "Should i cast beam or not?". Challenge is sadly gone (i know i know, many players hate genuine Jade Exis, but they make game little wild and fun for me at last).
