Question

I recently purchased a nvidia rtx 3070 ti and I noticed washed out colors after Enabling RTX Dyanmic Vibrance by pressing alt+z or by setting it in nvidias new beta app

First Image is with RTX Dynamic Vibrance toggled offimage.png?ex=66ec3814&is=66eae694&hm=8d1

2nd image is with RTX Dynamic Vibrance toggled on

alt + f3 is the direct shortcut to rtx game profiles,  Make sure you have RTX Dynamic Vibrance turned off in the event you may be experiencing this issue!

hope this helps anyone puzzled by washed out colors with an rtx gpu

There's your problem.

I haven't messed with this beta software, but I have been using HDR for quite a while. I really don't see an advantage to any of this if your monitor itself can't provide enough contrast to differentiate colors, so most people's displays simply aren't capable of enhancing colors. Pretty much limited to QLED or OLED displays with 1M:1 contrast on Windows, after doing calibration and figuring out what brightness level works best.

For anyone else looking at this thread, HDR and DLSS/FSR can cause these issues, as well as resolution scaling.
