Insta killed in dark sector missions

Hi I've been farming orokin cells in gabii on ceres in steel path with a khora shield gate build and I usually post up in a small room and just afk farm and spam my 1 and 4, my problem is occasionally I just instantly die and I have no idea how like my full shields and health are up and I just insta die without any know how as to the reason I died, I suspect it might be toxin but I don't even see the proc on the top right of my screen so I have no idea if I'm really dying to toxin and that I have to shill out plat on arcane resistance or is it just some bs thing in this game.

Toxin damage alone bypasses shields, not just the proc.

If there was a Mutalist Osprey that dashed, that toxic cloud deals toxin damage, and bypasses shields.

If there was a Toxic Ancient nearby, all Infested in it's buff range get Toxin damage and bypass your shields. The Toxin Ancient itself also does high amounts of toxin damage.

 

Arcane Resistance does NOT stop toxin DAMAGE either. It only stops Toxin STATUS EFFECTS.
