Damage 2.0 And Warframe Armor.

I just had a possible revelation that may or may not have been noticed already:

 

1. The flux rifle does mostly piercing damage.

2. The effectiveness of piercing damage is multiplied against armored targets.

3. Warframe armor won't be exempt from this.

4. My Valkyr with Maxed Steel Fiber, Maxed Vitality and no redirection dies really incredibly quickly when faced with corpus wielding flux rifles.

 

I think this means Steel Fiber is actually a bad mod to use when fighting Corpus, right?

It's a very bad mod in general as you nearly never regenerate health

Armor for Tenno got nerfed when they switched to damage 2.0. Effectiveness got reduced without a buff to Tenno's armor to compensate for the change.

 

In case you didn't notice, Valkyr against anything tends to die quickly.

I haven't done any testing of this myself, but I have come across a few topics claiming the same thing. I would say that it's a very likely possibility.

No.

 

It just means that you shouldn't use Steel Fiber or tank against anything.

Flux Rifle is slash dmg though...

But it does proc high dmg armor & shield ignoring bleeds, and the corpus are incredibly accurate with it.

 

And corpus also use dera's and supra's both puncture weapons which parts of your armor.
