Does detonating glaive prime(or any glaive really) dismember enemies?

Question

I have been farming Tellurium on Uranus, and I am trying to maximize Nekros' Desecrate. Glaive prime is the current best "melee" I have, and I was wondering if I have been sabotaging myself by using the glaive detonation mechanic, since the numbers I see pop up, most of the time, are impact and not slash.

If you're farming solo you're already sabotaging yourself so look no further.

If you look carefully at glaive on wiki, you will notice a few things: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Glaive

  • Thrown glaive deals primarily DmgBlastSmall64 Blast damage.
  • Thrown glaive has a guaranteed DmgImpactSmall64 Impact proc.
  • Heavy Attacks while the glaive is in mid-flight produce a 4.8 meter explosion and forces the glaive to return.
  • Explosion inflicts a guaranteed DmgImpactSmall64 Impact proc.

The dismemberment for a Nekros' Desecrate is not all that important really.
